It is named after the capital of Dordogne and its stunning limestone plateaus that define Périgord Blanc.

You can observe this characteristic by admiring the white domes of Périgueux Cathedral, designed by Paul Abadie, who later drew inspiration from them to create the domes of the Sacré-Cœur in Paris.
