• Turn off the lights: Remember to switch off the lights when you leave a room. Make the most of natural light during the day.

• Set the air conditioning and heating: Keep a reasonable temperature (around 19-20°C in winter and 25°C in summer). Turn them off when you leave the villa.

• Unplug devices: Avoid standby mode by unplugging unused electronic devices, such as chargers.

• Use appliances wisely: Opt for short and low-temperature cycles for the washing machine and dishwasher.

💧  Water Conservation

• Turn off the taps: Don’t leave water running unnecessarily, especially when brushing your teeth or washing your hands.

• Use the dual-flush system: All the villa's toilets are equipped with a dual-flush system. Use the smaller flush when possible.

♻️  Waste Sorting and Management

• Recycle your waste: The villa provides:

  • A large bin for paper/cardboard, plastics, and aluminum.

  • A small bin for non-recyclable waste.

• Glass recycling: While the villa doesn’t have a glass bin, a recycling center is located just a few hundred meters away. You can drop off your glass bottles and jars there.

• Limit packaging: Choose bulk products and reusable containers when shopping.

🚲  Sustainable Mobility

• Walk or bike: Explore the surroundings on foot or by bike, which can be rented nearby.

• Carpool: If planning group outings, opt for carpooling.

• Avoid unnecessary trips: Prioritize local visits to reduce emissions from transportation.

• Buy local and seasonal produce: We’ve listed local farmers and producers on our Around the Villa page. Enjoy their products to support the local economy and reduce your food carbon footprint.

• Avoid plastic: Use reusable bags for your groceries and avoid plastic bottles by drinking tap water or using a filtered carafe.

🌱  Respect for Nature

• Protect flora and fauna: During your walks, avoid picking protected plants and respect natural spaces.

• Avoid chemicals: Don’t use harmful products in the garden or pool.

🚭  Non-Smoking Villa

• Use ashtrays: Ashtrays are provided outside for your cigarette butts.

• No smoking indoors: The villa and all its rooms are strictly non-smoking. Smoking inside is strictly prohibited.
